WHAT IS IT?

Summer recurrent dermatitis in horses (DERE) is a chronic inflammatory skin condition, often seasonal, that appears in the spring. Clinical signs tend to recur each year and often worsen over time. The condition is caused by the bite of midges ("culicoides"), which triggers an allergic reaction in some horses, who are hypersensitive to these bites.

NUTRAGILE Specific Dermite is a complementary feed formulated with a synergy of plants to help reduce and delay the symptoms of the dermatitis. It has a draining effect, helping to eliminate toxins responsible for itching, stimulates the immune system, and promotes hair regrowth.

This product cannot treat DERE on its own. It should be used in combination with preventive measures to keep insects away and with external treatments. We recommend alternating the use of Nutragile Natural Clay Poultice and Nutragile Repairing Ointment for local application.
